My name is Agata and I am a Pole. I’ve lived in Liguria for several years and I must admit that it stole my heart (even my husband is Ligurian 😉 ). I love exploring this region. Just during one of my trips, I thought it would be a great idea to share my experience with people who want to visit Liguria. That’s how the idea of “That’s Liguria!” was born.
I hope this blog will become a PRACTICAL guide for everyone who wants to come here. I wish it helps you discover AUTHENTIC Liguria. Because it is not only the thin slice of land between mountains and sea. But it is the land of extremely rich history, fantastic monuments, mountains, great tradition and particular cuisine.
In 2017 my work on the blog was appreciated by a Polish publisher that proposed me to write a part of its new guidebook about Italy. In this way I was responsible for a part regarded the Northern Italy and Liguria in the guidebook “Włochy – Praktyczny Przewodnik”.
But the collaboration with this editor didn’t finish with one guidebook! In 2020 I wrote another one for them, this time a guidebook about Venice (I know it isn’t located in Liguria, but I feel prepared about this city, cause before I moved to Liguria, I’ve been living in Venice 😉
After some time, however, I thought that describing places and advising where to go and what to do is not the same that bringing on persons and show them all these places by myself. That’s why I decided to start guiding seriously and actually, I am a licensed tour leader 🙂 I must say I really love it! Thanks to it I have a direct contact with tourists and I can compare myself with them. But the most important thing is that I can discover Liguria once again with them 🙂
p.s. If you are interested in guided tours in Liguria don’t hesitate to contact me through my contact form 🙂
